A self drive 4wd tour of Fraser Island gives you the opportunity to see a lot of tiger sharks looking down from Indian Head as it’s a tiger shark breeding ground. There are plenty of beautiful lakes for swimming. Lake Wabby is a lot of fun because it has a very large sand dune that you can slide or roll down straight into the water.
Central Station and Wangoolba creek is without a doubt one of the most amazing places to visit. The rainforest at Central Station is spectacular with its massive ferns and towering trees. There is a huge boardwalk right through the middle. It also has the old logging cabins and information about a lot of the history about them.
